Kenyan Eunice Jepkoech Sum, leader of the Diamond League in the 800m, has won the MEETING AREVA, improving on the best performance in the world this year to boot.

Eunice Jepkoech Sum rewrites the reference times. The 27-year old Kenyan has improved on her own personal best in the world this year by winning the 800m in the MEETING AREVA. The leader of the Diamond League took victory in 1’56’’99, ahead of the Cuban Rose Mary Almanza (1’57’’70, personal best) and the Swiss athlete Selina Büchel (1’57’’95, national record). Americans Molly Ludlow and Chanelle Price, fourth and fifth, also secured personal best times.
