The world champion, Olympic No.2 and leader of the Diamond League ranking, Caterine Ibarguen, totally excelled in the triple jump competition at the MEETING AREVA.

Logic ran true in the triple jump competition at the MEETING AREVA. The outright favourite, Colombian Caterine Ibarguen (31 yrs) took the win with a jump of 14.87m on her fourth attempt. She beat the Russian Yekaterina Koneva (14.72m) and Israeli athlete Hanna Knyazheva-Minenko (14.56m). French athlete Jeanine Assani-Issouf took eighth place with a jump of 13.86m.
