Dacres confirms

Fedrick Dacres won the discus throwing competition on Saturday at Charléty during the MEETING de PARIS.

Current holder of the season’s best performance, Fedrick Dacres has confirmed he is at the peak of fitness. The 24-year-old Jamaican took the win on Saturday at the Charléty Stadium in the discus competition at the MEETING de PARIS. With a throw of 67.01m, he nicely exceeded German Christoph Harting (2nd, 64.80m) and Pole Robert Urbanek (3rd, 64.68m).

Andrius Gudzius, reigning world champion, very consistent this season so far, totally missed the mark. The 27-year-old Lithuanian finished 10th in the competition (61.31m), just ahead of Frenchman Lolassonn Djouhan (60.88m).
