Amos beats the Kenyans

The athlete from Botswana, Nijel Amos, won the 800m at the MEETING de PARIS, securing his season’s best time.

The double African champion and double champion of the Diamond League Nijel Amos has won the 800m at the MEETING de PARIS. In 1’44’’24, a season’s best, the runner from Botswana beat three Kenyans: Kipyegon Bett (1’44’’36), Ferguson Cheruiyot Rotich (1’44’’37, season’s best) and Robert Biwott (1’45’’05, season’s best). Frenchman Pierre-Ambroise Bosse, who made his comeback to the competition this week, also achieved a best time for 2017, in 1’45’’71, to finish seventh.
