Meité in under 10 seconds

Ben Youssef Méité does it again! Like last year, where he equalled his national record at the Stade de France, the runner from the Ivory Coast has won the 100m at the MEETING de PARIS (a non-Diamond League event). He took victory in 9’’99, ahead of Cuban Yunier Perez, who beat his personal best in 10’’05, and Dutch athlete Churandy Martina (10’’23). Frenchman Mickaël-Meba Zeze finished sixth to secure a season’s best (10’’36). Of note, World Champion 2003 Kim Collins and American Emmanuel Matadi were disqualified due to a false start.
