As we await a potential new world record this evening at the Stade de France, two national records have been broken at the MEETING AREVA, in the women’s 400m hurdles. Sara Petersen (53’’99) broke the Danish record and Kemi Adekoya (54’’12) that of Bahrain. The two women finish on the podium, behind this evening’s winner, Zuzana Hejnova. The 28-year old Czech, bronze medallist at the Olympic Games in London, pulled off her personal best this season in a time of 53’’76, and moves back up to second place in the Diamond League ranking behind Jamaican Spencer. French hurdler Aurélie Chaboudez finished eighth in 56’’03.
