The reigning world champion in the triple jump has taken victory with another jump in excess of 15m. Though she was hoping to improve on her season’s best (15.11m at the Pan American Games in Lima), she stepped up to the plate and took charge of the competition on her second attempt. It’s the third competition in her career with a jump of over 15m. Cuban Liadagmis Povea takes second place on the podium with 14.75m, ahead of American Ketrurah Orji, who secured a new personal best (14.72m). French athlete Yanis David finished tenth with 13.43m.
