The last race of the MEETING de PARIS certainly lived up to expectations. This Saturday at Charléty, American Ronnie Baker won the 100m and equalled the best performance in the world this season, held by his compatriot Noah Lyles (9"88, +0.8m/s). Frenchman Jimmy Vicaut finished second (9"91), in the same one hundredth of a second as the Chinese athlete Bingtian Su, who completes the podium.
Meantime, Jamaican Yohan Blake still hasn’t managed to run a sub-10-second time this year. He ranked 5th in the race in 10"03, behind South African Akani Simbine (9"94, his season’s best).
