Battling it out down the home straight with Kenyan Ronald Kwemoi, the Ethiopian Muktar Edris finally snatched victory in the 3,000m at the MEETING de PARIS, in 7’32’’31, his new personal best. Kwemoi finished second in 7’32’’88, ahead of fellow Ethiopian, Yomif Kejelcha (7’33’’37). It was a quick race as four other athletes beat their personal best times in addition to Edris (Spaniard Mechaal, American True, Australian Tiernan and Italian Crippa).
