The ‘women’s Bolt’ has struck again! Jamaican Elaine Thompson, Olympic champion 2016 in the 100m and 200m, has held rank to perfection, winning the 100m of the MEETING de PARIS. With a time of 10’’91, she narrowly beat the athlete from the Ivory Coast Marie-Josée Ta Lou (10’’96) and Nigerian Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor (11’’09), who beat their season’s best times. French athlete Carolle Zahi (23) finished fifth, beating her personal best and achieving the necessary time to compete at the Worlds in London: 11’’17.
