Natasha Hastings has been in excellent form recently, and she continued to make her mark in the 400m by winning the event at the MEETING de PARIS. Part of the victorious US 4x400m relay team in Rio, the American crossed the line in 50:06 ahead of Jamaica’s Stephenie Ann McPherson (50:33). Another Jamaican athlete, Christine Day, secured the last spot on the podium with a time of 50:75. That result propels McPherson to the top of the Diamond League at the expense of Shaunae Miller, who was absent in Paris tonight. The French pair of Floria Guei (51:16) and Marie Gayot (53:33) finished fifth and eighth respectively.
