Two personal bests for the price of one! American Michael Norman won the 200m at the MEETING de PARIS on Saturday at Charléty, ahead of Benjamin Rai (Antigua-and-Barbuda). The two men both posted the best time of their career (19"84 and 19"99), despite an unfavourable wind (-0.6m/s). Ecuadorian Alex Quinonez rounded off the podium in 20"08.
In the end, Christophe Lemaitre did not take part in the race, which didn’t count towards the Diamond League. The bronze medallist at the Rio Olympics felt a twinge during the 100m B, which he’d run earlier in the evening.
