World champion in 2015 in Beijing, Cuban Denia Caballero has won another prestigious victory at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Paris, one week on from her second place in Birmingham. To do this, she made a winning throw on her second attempt, measured at 66.91m. Right off her game since the start of the season, Croatian Sandra Perkovic tried to respond on her sixth attempt but had to make do with 65.01m. Chinese thrower Bin Feng managed to bag third place on the podium with 64.60m. On home soil, French athlete Mélina Robert-Michon posted her season’s best with 62.62m on her fifth attempt.
