The 22-year-old Qatari took the win in 46"98 this Saturday at Charléty within the context of the MEETING de PARIS, ahead of Kyron McMaster (BVI, 2nd in 47"54) and Karsten Warholm (Norway, 3rd in 48"06).
This time of 46"98, the second best in history, takes Abderrahman Samba’s performance to a whole new level, the latter already the leader of the Diamond League and undefeated this season after previously running 47"41. The age of the runners-up today (21 and 22) also confirms the spectacular new impetus within this discipline. In front of his home crowd, Frenchman Victor Coroller secured 7th place in the race in 50"03.
