Christian Taylor the logical win

The Olympic champion of the triple jump Christian Taylor has taken victory in the triple jump competition at the MEETING de PARIS ahead of compatriot Will Claye.

Double Olympic champion, leader of the Diamond League and best performer in the world this year, American Christian Taylor has also shone at the MEETING de PARIS, winning the triple jump competition. With a jump of 17.29m on his second attempt, he finished ahead of compatriot Will Claye, who landed 17.18m on his final attempt, watched by World Champion 2013, Frenchman Teddy Tamgho, from beside the jumping pit. German Max Hess, European champion and just 20 years of age, finish third, with a jump of 17.07m, his season’s best. Frenchmen Jean-Marc Pontvianne (16.82m) and Benjamin Compaoré (16.16m) finished seventh and tenth.
