"I’ve had surgeries last year and every other time was too early to come back to competition.

I thought about Oslo and Birmingham, but Paris seemed the right choice. I had two surgeries, they moved a nerve in my elbow and a bone in my shoulder, so it took some time to come back. I now feel like I can start competing again as training has been good. I want to go out there and do what I love to do. The weather is nice and Paris always has a good crowd. I have to take things at my own pace, tomorrow is not the most important night of the season. I have a mark in mind but I won’t tell you, I can just say that I’m as prepared as I can be."
