The best performer in the world this year in the 1,500m, Dutch athlete Sifan Hassen has confirmed that she is in fine fettle by winning the 1,500m at the MEETING de PARIS.

Three athletes in under four minutes! The 1,500m of the MEETING de PARIS was top-class this Saturday evening and it saw the logical victory of the best specialist of 2017, Sifan Hassan. The 24-year-old Dutch athlete took the win in 3’57’’10, ahead of Olympic champion, Kenyan Faith Kipyegon, who posted a season’s best in 3’57’’51. Third and fourth, Ethiopian Gudaf Tsegay and Pole Angelika Cichocka beat their personal best times in 3’59’’55 and 4’01’’61 respectively.
