{"id":2751,"date":"2026-06-26T14:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-26T13:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paris.diamondleague.com\/the-meeting-de-paris-will-go-ahead-in-an-adapted-format-due-to-exceptional-weather-conditions\/"},"modified":"2026-06-26T14:48:28","modified_gmt":"2026-06-26T13:48:28","slug":"the-meeting-de-paris-will-go-ahead-in-an-adapted-format-due-to-exceptional-weather-conditions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paris.diamondleague.com\/en\/the-meeting-de-paris-will-go-ahead-in-an-adapted-format-due-to-exceptional-weather-conditions\/","title":{"rendered":"The Paris Meeting on June 28 Will Go Ahead in an Adapted Format"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In agreement with the Paris Police Prefecture and in light of the exceptional heatwave currently affecting the region, the French Athletics Federation (FFA) confirms that the Paris Meeting, scheduled for Sunday, June 28 at Charl\u00e9ty Stadium, will go ahead in an adapted format designed to ensure the safety of all participants.<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with the measures agreed upon with the French authorities and in full compliance with the current prefectural order, the day&#8217;s schedule has been adjusted and the event has not been cancelled, contrary to reports published by some media on Friday, June 26. Only competitions involving professional athletes will be held. Conversely, all activities for athletics clubs and licensed members, as well as regional competitions, have been cancelled.  <\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of this extreme weather event, the French Athletics Federation has been closely monitoring the situation in constant coordination with government authorities.
